- Additional investment on Yoga mats and comfortable Yoga wear is recommended, but not required.
- No matter how you modify the established Yoga program, the results would always come slower versus any fitness or weight training program. That’s just the nature of Yoga.

However, there’s a message board on your member’s dashboard when you join the program which is handled by a very responsive support staff. Shapeshifter Yoga Product LineupShapeshifter Yoga, in its very core, is basically a modified Yoga program.
It’s modified in a sense that it is your typical Yoga program with a more focused fat-burning and body-shaping component grounded on scientific testing and measurements. That way, burning fat and consuming calories using this Yoga program becomes a precise and effective endeavor.
Shapeshifter Yoga is the brainchild of Kristine Fondran (or more commonly Kris Fondran). Kris has a Masters in Exercise Science while having several Yoga accreditations and certifications from notable Yoga systems and institutes worldwide including Yoga Alliance and Satyananda Yoga. She and her program have also been featured in popular media that includes Cosmopolitan magazine and Shape magazine; just to name a few. These impressive credentials establish Kris as one of the top Yoga instructors around.
As for the product, Shapeshifter Yoga is separated into two routines – Shapeshifter Yoga and Shapeshifter Flow. You’ll start off with the main Shapeshifter Yoga routine for the first 4 to 6 weeks (done 3 times a week) to develop your posture and flexibility in preparation for the more advanced (and harder) Shapeshifter
Flow poses.
Once you’re through with 4 to 6 weeks of basic poses you can then proceed to doing Shapeshifter Flow poses.
You do Shapeshifter Flow on top of the main Shapeshifter Yoga to form your regular routine. However, if time is tight, you can just do Shapeshifter Flow poses for that particular session.
A highlight of the program is Kris’ focus on the difference between a session that “hurts so good” against one that “just plain hurts.” Yoga is a tough exercise (despite what ill-informed hardcore fitness buffs or Yoga critics who haven’t tried it would have you believe) and doing the stretches correctly does give a certain amount of discomfort. Proper form and feedback on what you can expect to feel with each pose are detailed throughout the program so that you can execute correctly and get the full benefit of this Yoga exercise without hurting yourself.
However, the best part of the program is still the Yoga routines themselves. Each Yoga pose is detailed with text instructions and image illustrations. On top of that, there are demonstration videos for each pose which comes in very handy. Kris also created videos wherein she demonstrates the whole sessions of the Shapeshifter
Yoga and Shapeshifter Flow routine and you can simply follow-along this virtual Yoga class.
